An Engineer by qualification, Makarand has over 15 years of investigative experience with services like Crime Branch, Anti- Terrorist Squad, Confidential Unit and Special Unit Team tackling Cyber – Crimes and Frauds. Makarand, after taking voluntary retirement has taken up private cyber forensics investigation and has worked for Multi– National Companies like the L&T, Damm Cellular, Denmark, Edelweiss, Alstom, Teltronics, Spain,CRRC, China, Auto mobile giant Kawasaki of Japan.
Makarand Wagh is one of the biggest names in India for Cyber Forensics as he consults for various state governments and his investigative skills in the Techno Legal aspect our extremely rare in the country. Being from a technical background, Makarand is the well versed and experienced to helm the technical aspects of Data Privacy and Data Loss Prevention Tools and Services.
He has done multiple cyber- crime and cyber investigative courses from India and abroad including a brief course of Cyber Forensics. He has done training in many countries and one of them was with Israel special force officers and India’s DRDO.
